Portable Heat Exchanger Rentals

Heat exchanger rentals are widely used in space heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning. Plant industries that use heat exchangers are: Power plants, chemical, petrochemical, petroleum refineries, natural gas processing, and sewage treatment. Many process cooling applications that use heat exchanger rentals present unique challenges.  Some particularly challenges include: corrosive potential of product and the materials of construction of the cooling equipment.  For the standard equipment some required flows and temperatures are often outside the normal range.  The complexity of the overall cooling solution can all be limiting factors in the successful among the implementation of this temporary process.

To adequately heat or cool a process fluid is most of the time with a heat exchanger rental unit. Heat exchangers are preferred rather than via direct contact with conventional cooling equipment. A heat exchanger rental will keep the process fluid separate from the primary cooling liquid, meanwhile still allowing efficient heat transfer in process applications.

Size and Temperature

Correct size for the temporary chillers or cooling towers, and also coupled with a heat exchanger rental, consequently will allow standard rental cooling equipment to function within its design operating range.  Immediately heat exchanger will provide effective cooling to a process stream. Lastly the heat exchanger also provides significantly more flexibility since processes often require operation at varying conditions.

For example, cooling a volatile process liquid from 120° F to 60° F cannot be safely accomplished using a liquid chiller alone. To achieved optimal cooling results is needed to add a heat exchanger rental with a secondary cooling loop through the heat exchanger.  First the chiller would cool the primary water stream from 55° F to 45° F, with the secondary loop cooling the process stream from 120° F to 60° F as desired. By creating a secondary cooling loop, is realized the ability to properly cool the process stream on the process side of the heat exchanger, simply by varying the liquid flow of the primary water cooling loop.
